I absoloutley adore this track. If ever there were an example of a lost House Classic, this has to be it. While Frankie Knuckles other productions from this period (aka Your Love, The Whistle Song) seem to get much more attention on the whole, Rain Falls is right up there with the very best of them. Soakin' Wet Mix provided by David Morales is easily my favourite of the mixes. Building up from some rhythmic ambient city sounds into that wonderful downtempo piano break and then eventually building up to the Knuckles-defining vocal house stormer it is. This track has it all - including a rather deep and sexy dub section. Rain Falls is, to me, a truly outstanding Def Mix classic that was sadly a victim of it's own stablemates - left behind as it's artists more famous track swept the globe. Still well worth tracking down if you love the house classics of this era, and an absoloute essential if your a fan of the almighty Frankie Knuckles and David Morales.
