YA know, I've always hated clownstep/wobble/Nu school Jump Up, but I gotta say...Fresh did it the best. Shot Down on Safari and his 12"'s off Ram stand up 10+ years later, whereas all that Hazard/Twisted Individual/nearly 80% of producers in the mid to late 00's became stale by the 2nd drop first-time played. DRUMFUNK4LIFE. But I'd let Fresh lick my jungle-bells with choons like this.

I don't like clownstep and most of the mainstream stuff being released all the time now and before but this... this is just pure wobble monsta sound. This release includes two blasters filled with thunderbolts and lightning crackers.I think I'll soon buy myself one.

Both sides are top notch. Fresh we want more! 5/5

Hard to believe that Fresh banged this out only 5 years ago, considering the total dog-shit chart fodder that has come out recently. What a filthy little number - a little reminder of his better days.

This release made me wonder if Fresh had something against his own label. Not putting out two of his finest efforts for years on Breakbeat Kaos was a bit odd.The A side is a roller with a slow, deep wobble bass. It truly lives up to its name; it's a bassline heavyweight right up there with other tracks from him and his old collaborators like "The Nine" (BC* - The Nine / The Bridge) and D-Bridge & Vegas (2) - Bellini / True Romance. One thing's for sure: it's impossible to grasp the magnitude of this track from a YouTube video. On the flip, "Fantasia", with its jungle-inspired breaks, lives up to the standard set by "Heavyweight" and is perfectly suited to this release, which feels like a 90s revival (techstep b2b jungle, as another reviewer already commented). If nothing else, these bangers proved that Fresh could still create drum & bass on a par with the best BCUK efforts. Shame he subsequently decided break the charts; I don't like his new music at all.

Its the same deal with his chainsaw single on violence - put simply fresh seems to release his best stuff on other labels! Not to say i dislike his bbk releases, but when you think about it this seems a little bit beyond the cheesy vibe of that label to say the least...

A Great release this one. The A side "Heavyweight" is a tough and rolling bit of Techstep harking right back to the 97-99 no u-turn style sounds and rips up bassbins in classic style. The B side "Fantasia" is my personal favourite on this one though, a light uplifting Jungle track that takes you right back to '94 and is somewhat reminiscent of Dj Rap's Spiritual Aura. Both sides are storming and this is a must have for your bag as it's so versatile.
