Mastercuts aren't what they were since they've been taken over. Now the name is used by Apace Music as an outlet for budget music compilations, and those tracks in short edits, high quantity and variable good vs filler = cheapo specials. This is different in that it includes many quality tracks in their full length mixes licenced from Network and other quality labels. There is even the odd sought after rarity: Forgemasters - Track With No Name (Communique Mix) which are hardly available elsewhere. The 3 discs are mostly made up of quality 90's, but here and there are also filler tracks from 2007 that seem to be exclusice to this release also? They however, are nothing at all to get excited about and don't fit with the rest of the compilation. Given this set's retail budget price though it is a complete bargain with some great full length tracks. Just don't expect everything here to make you smile.

Agreed, although for £1.99 you can sort of overlook the problems with this release. Seems to be a scattergun approach to the licensing of the tracks on it.
