Millions of remixes of this classic by D.H.S. and really not many of them have the ability to touch the quality of the original mix. However, on this double pack Cari Lekebusch does a remix under his FRED guise that brings me back to the days when Mr Lekebusch could do no wrong. Just about everything he touched during this time, whether it was on Hybrid or Analog Records (USA) or even here on Missile, was absolute gold. This particular remix reminds me of the days wondering through warehouse districts trying to find the party location without the aid of GPS or a predetermined location. The room just oozes kick drum and echos everywhere while you become enchanted by evilly distorted voices repeating "House of God" over some quirky synth-lines. The other mix I like on here is the one by Thomas Peter Heckmann using the Drax formula. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of other Drax productions, but I particularly like this remix. The Pump Panel and Surgeon remix aren't all that interesting though, just run of the mill mid 90s techno.

The Surgeon remix brings back that good old euphoric "damn" feeling. Hard to descibe, but surgeon' s typical sour, harsh, acid-like touch in this all time classic makes this a great marriage with a ten-year age difference.
