As good as this album is and as much as I like it; let's be honest here: Next to Villalobos' "Alcachofa", this one is a strong contender for the most over-hyped record of the noughties.

Indeed - I don't consider it a great album, but Miura. Miura forever.

Wow! This album is amazingly funky, and it works very well with its reliance on the electronics. Morgan Geist's rough-edged electronic sound is very distinguishable in this release, but the use of strings and voices in various tracks as a counterpoint really completes the sound. "Miura" has an excellent deep sound to it, with excellent use of harmony when the voices come in. Trust me on this one; listen to this track and you'll understand. "Atmosphrique" is extremely funky, and it works well as an anchor for the sound, being that it's in the middle of the album. "Strut" and "Caught Up" really end the album well, and the last track's strings are particularly memorable.
