Not a bad little EP once I think about it. The Piano Overlord (Prefuse 73, Delarosa And Asora Savath And Salavas and last but not least Scott Herren) tracks are some basic downtempo Prefuse tracks with a feel of Savath’s organic rhythms. Basic drumbeats mixed with guitar string and a touch of electronics. Definitely not a substantial view of what Scott Herren has planned for this side project but not a waste of money in the least bit. The Diplo remix reminds of Dabrye style electronic Hip-Hop and the Express Rising remix is some down to earth DJ Shadow style production. The artwork is very interesting too, not much silk screen done on LP covers these days.
