The second album by Joergmueller after his first well received minimalistic dub-techno-ambient mini album 'Mjiu' released on Shoreless Recordings back in 2009. Gone is the more quiet ambient with gentle dub minimalism approach of the 1st album; which is now replaced with a more rhythmic rooted style of instrumental Jamaican like dub, along with all the classic BC dub-techno elements we DT fans love: Chords, delays, catchy techno hooks & sweeps; but used with finesses without taking away the reggae feel - but adds to it! A gentle & subtle ambiance also flows beneath the rhythms & beats bringing a warm whispering effect with a sense of airy mellowness adding a softening touch to the catchy dub baselines . Tracks are also spiced-up on occasion with some wonderful use of rooted reggae sounds/vibes and effects, plus the occasional use of Jamaican-Ska vocal, bringing that extra layer of immersion to its already excellent absorbing and dubby mellowing reggae & dub-techno sound that's also refreshing with a head-nodding vibe. Music both rooted and dub-techno innovative in a uncomplicated way making this a enjoyable album for what ever the mood! Fans of Rhythm & Sound, System, International Observer, The Nautilus Project, Intrusion fans will certainly enjoy this.
