Right now im re-evaluating all goatrance i have, is surprising so many tunes i used to like now not so much, find most oldschoool goa way too cheesy in the melodies, even in fav projects like astral projection, chi-ad and mfg.Gave this a proper listen again and i even like it more than before, aged like wine.Repetitive psygoa in here, really the best of both worlds and easy on the melodies, music meant to put you in a trance, you could even throw some of these tunes in a hardtek or hardtechno set.I have yet to find a bad release by this guy but this is my fav (not counting the unreleased which is gold). Well recommended specially for those who like their trance dark but at the same time filled with magic and ritualism. For the peak of the night and for serious dancers. Even the last "relax" tune is very powerful. We need way more of this indeed.

Replicant, Nauge D' Encens and Up Days is what it all comes down to on "Technologic". The first two are both punishing and hard tornados which slowly build up and before you know it lift you high up in the air, with no time or space to look or go back! Up Days is quite probably one of the ten hardest goa/psy tunes ever recorded, further discussion sealed by yellow duck tape. Unfortunately the rest of the album, despite showing quite a lot of potential never really comes together like the tracks mentioned above. It's a pity, namely audiable on D' Eden Space, which starts like a minimal, percussion driven pounding track, but loses focus five minutes deep and never regains the initial tightness and absolute domination over my attention. Toi Doi depicts a raw, terror induced, frenetic, fast, pumping and uplifting version of goa trance, that is as sci-fi, technoid and dark as anything you've ever heard in the genre, but its darkness cannot be compared to the usual russian 'speedcore psy' dark stuff, its techno influences and metallic sounds are not similar to X-Dream/The Delta post "Radio" output, its futuristic and apocalyptic influences are far from Darshan and Orichalcum... I don't know, you just have to hear it. Not because it's flawless, but because it enables you to explore and experience psy trance like you've never done it before, plus you will get acquainted with three absolutely mind blowing tracks!

Technologic is best described as some sort of minimal, full-on forest psy-trance hybrid incorporating occasional goa elements. Confused? Well, if you're into monotonous dark night trance Technologic should all make sense - in line with dozens of reviews I've seen praising it. I tend to get bored, though, even annoyed over an album's stretch. Not that everything lands outside my taste. Opening track Star Shoot Trippers manages to remain both on the attack, monotonous and interesting. Also Replicant's energy saves this track. Those tracks aside, however, my patience is put to the limit on Technologic. That said, at the same time, I can appreciate why some can have an infatuation with tracks like Enfants Sacres, Up Days, and D'Liss. They're dark, pounding, highly psychedelic, and played loud at night time must come across as devastating for the *openminded* listener. Yet, they leave me unimpressed. Well, a track like Ze Cosmos Trips doesn't leave me unimpressed - it annoys the hell out of me! Alas, biased like any review is this one gets a thumbs down. But if dark, monotonous trance kept on the minimal side rings a bell with you, check out Technologic if you fall over a copy. Hell, that could even be mine ...
