Solid Detroit techno from Scan 7 on his second album, RESURFACED. Those smooth chords are in effect right from "Random Soul," while "Invisible Invasion" amps up the intensity. "Black Wall" keeps the rhythm strong, but "Mind Trap" and "Unit Seven" bring in some brightness. "Sound Escape" returns to the smooth approach for a sinuous track, while "The Craft" goes for extra clatter. Strong all the way through.
