The album starts off quite well, the first three tracks are nice ambient numbers. It opens up very gently with Lux's "Northern Lights"; Next comes Afterlife's fourth outing on the Cafe Del Mar Series ,"Breather 2000" which a a gentle sexy Samba and this is followed by Moby's haunting "Whispering Wind." Then there's a bit more of a groove feel to "Easy Rider" and this follows through to the floating bass of "Sunbeams". The first half is OK but after that it gets a bit boring. Beautiful Strange doesn't seem to get going, and yes I know this is Ambient music, I'm not missing the whole point but there's just not enough depth to this. Swollen and Cahuita are OK but other than that it's a bit weak.
