Notes

The test section on Bass Boom 3 is primarily oriented toward SPL enhancement and bass enjoyment, it comprises three sections.

A) Step tones: comprising tracks 20 & 21, these are a series of tones that move through 9 frequencies in descending "steps". Each step is 10 cycles lower than the previous step. Track 20 features 105hz 95hz 85hz 75hz 65hz 55hz 45hz 35hz 25hz. Track 21 features 110hz 100hz 90hz 80hz 70hz60hz 50hz 40hz 30hz.

B) Sweeps: comprising tracks 22 thru 31 the first 8 sweeps are sequenced in a descending order. Each sweep covers a 100 cycle range with the first sweep starting @ 200 cycles and the rest following @ 10 cycles intervals.

track 31 features an ultra slow sweep lasting 40 seconds that starts @ 40hz and ends up @ 0hz. This is a great sweep for checking woofer movement and hearing how fast your system "rolls off" @ ultra low frequencies.

C) Single cycle sine waves indexed by track #: comprising tracks 32 thru 99. This section features the ever popular single cycle sine waves @ 0db indexwd by track # e.g. track 30 = 30hz, track 60 = 60hz etc. in conjuction with a simple SPL meter this section is still one of the easiest and fastest waugs to figure out what frequency your system really "hits" at.
