Cabrakan, The Mayan God of earthquakes is what Thomas envisioned when creating this unique and masterful original with a tale of the Mayans waking up in the middle of the night to the shakes and rumbles of an earthquake and bowing to their God. When listening to the development of the track, you can certainly visualize these images in ones head as if it was a modern day soundtrack to the ancient ways of living back then. The most captivating element it being the creepy, melodic afterhour synth is what truly pulls you in and delivers that powerful uncertainty of a higher power and what the Mayan must have felt in that very moment when experiencing this natural disaster (deep huh?). Deep but yet grooving ambitions is what keeps the momentum going for Cabrakan that keeps the listener engaged throughout until the very end.
