Andy Moor releases his much much MUCH awaited album. And i have to say the guy took me by a complete surprise; i never expected it to be that great. At first i thought 18 tracks was toooo much but after just one listen you wonder how the hell could he make all of them that great.There's so much vocal tracks of the likes of the one-track-hit that could easily be the only highlight of a normal album like Love Again, Trespass, Story Of My Life, Time Will Tell, In Your Arms and not many instrumentals to be honest but still great ones like Orbithing, Ordinary People (set destroyer!), K Ta and also lovely chilling tracks like World To Turn and my top track of the album Tora's Angel, and some risky tracks but enjoyable all the same.Conclusion: after a couple of listens, Zero Point One has climbed to be one my top 3 trance albums.
Hirah
A long long awaited artist album from one of the main trance producers! Check out the preview - if you like what you hear, then this album won't disappoint you. However, don't expect anything but commercial vocal trance here. "Halcyon", "Treatment Declined" and Whiteroom did their part, but nowadays progressive trance is money. Money is this album also. Tracks are short, almost all are with vocals, many have so popular breaks and downtempo parts. Mixing surprises too, some tracks are suddenly cut in the end before next track begins. This album could be a big deal, if it was released somewhere in 2005 with current Andy Moor works. But today it's just a copy of many other (vocal) trance albums, and it doesn't matter which name brings it on.
