A special moment when classical meets minimal and the outcome is far away from kitsch. Beautiful hypnosis. Just one thing... It feels like there are many more little details to discover, impossible to hear though. Or maybe it's just how the record should be :)

Interesting release... The A side is a real treat that offers a developmental listening experience. It is mixed really well and has many subtle nuances that give it a psychedelic touch, without being overt. At times it is a tad haunting, but the repeating synth sound maintains a positive trajectory. The B side is nice, but not has engrossing as the flip side. Over all this is a great record that will fill in the missing and lost sounds many of us came to love with the early Cadenza releases. In fact, this record could have easily been released after his LP on Cadenza and given the fans of that record a progressive treat.

Adam, that would have not been possible. I'm talking about releasing this EP after the Cadenza one. They're 5 years apart from each other, 5 years in which his style has matured and has taken a turn for a rather more minimalistic, textured and acoustic style. His Cadenza EP was significantly more housier and imature than this one. Indeed, some early Cadenza works are similar to this release, but in no way his "Tips" LP.
