Louie Frantic on this 12 inch is Cringe worthy to say the least and Beams Are Gonna Blind Me would have been better if certain elements were left out of it, like that lyric and the Abba Don't Go Changing Your Emotions soundclip. Pants!!The other tunes are ok.
It's so easy
This is a top record. If somebody says this is shit he do not know the era (1991-1993) this sound was an important part of Germanys Breakbeat scene. Comparing to the Riot Beats releases or the other FIM breakbeat/UK-Hardcore-releases of this time it must not hide. I have big respect to Heckmann because he showed that he could not only compose great Acid and Techno - with this record he could easily keep up with Biochip C's breakbeat 12"s. Damm had doubtless the biggest (someone would say even the best) output in that era in Germanys Breakbeat (FIM, Mono Tone) but records like 'Stagediving 92' were a great new sound adventure in this wild years. Also Space Cube played a big role in the Germany Breakbeat movement, Wolfgang Voigt aka Mike Ink composed similar sounds (Centrifugal Force) and even Raymund Bayer and Gregor Dietz of Brainstorm (R&S) appeared on the legendary Milk!-Club 12inches. The big success of Force Inc Music Works was built not least on these wild Breakbeat releases. Btw: Respect: Milk! Club, Brückenkopf and FIM! Great time! Great spirit... This time is over now and only those who were in it can understand its incomparable power. It was not only the music - there was no crisis, the technical progress was not like today (sounds were more ruff, wild sample collages were not atypical) and people had been open to new (sometimes very hard and wild) freak-out music (if composed with originaliity! it did not play a role if it composed more ruff and fast). Nowadays 99% of all the different sounds outthere were there before so its not a lightfull birth of something new and pretty, its just a rebirth. And this is in most cases not so exiting as being with it and living it 4 the first time ever.

That's a bit of a statement matey. Claiming people do not know the era if they don't like this particular 12 inch! Music is after all a matter of opinion..you have yours and i have mine..

Dreadful release from Mr Heckmann!! His one and only truly awful record!Seems like a total sell out as this style of music is not what Thomas Heckmann does and has never done before or after this record. Garbage in my opinion!!

Agree with you in that this is my least favourite Thomas Heckmann release; and not something I'd buy. However, Force Inc was releasing a lot of this style at the time, and maybe it's what the label owner asked for?

sellout - if someone doesn't know times sometimes better don't comment. stand out release from thomas heckmann adding his own flavour to the hardcore sound the force inc posse fell in love with that times.
