The DJ Q-Bert remix of "A Roller Skating Jam Named 'Saturdays'" uses elements from "What Yo Life Can Truly Be" (Vinia Mojica singing "Saturday's for you to see what yo life can truly be" and the Woody Woodpecker sample) but is otherwise a very stripped down mix with a small segment of the bassline from Chic's "Good Times" under a simple beat. Q-Bert scratches under the De La and Q-Tip vocals. The best thing about it is that it has the radio DJ vocal intro at the beginning without any effects on it, isolated. The mix itself is mostly ineffectual, repetitive, and it strips away all the groove and catchy bombastic joy of the original version. It isn't bad...it's just not a particularly fun or necessary listen.(Edit: I was wrong, apparently the bassline is probably taken from "Rock, Skate, Roll, Bounce" by Vaughan Mason and Crew.
