"Make Me Rock" is a steady house groove with a nice bassline, it's not anything special but it's a nice tune. Jimi Polar's rerub tightens it up and add some nice dubby soundscapes and improves on the original. However the best tune on this is on the flip with "Dazed 'n' Confused" with heavy swung percussion setting the groundwork for a filtertastic tune. Tune kicks along and one minute in bass-womps and other stabs are building up and eventually it breaks down to the same Tata Vega sample that Armand van Helden used for his remix of "Da Funk" and then goes right back to drums. It's a challenging tune but a great one to just drop and work with other records.
