Shazel
It had been a while since I last caught up with S.P.O.C.K so when I stuck the CD in the player I was healthily shocked by the ambient noise of cryogenic suspension of sorts. Still, before I had time to say "Aaaahhh... Aliens" it lead up to the excellent and catchy intro/refrain of "Reactivated", immediately sending good vibrations through the entire body. Unfortunately this sensation was not to last, since not long after the vocals kicked in, and all of a sudden I found myself listening to some kind of average pop record devoid of that lovely feeling I had ten seconds ago. After the initial shocks passed though, what I was left with was another well rounded S.P.O.C.K album filled with catchy tunes of variable quality, not quite as praiseable as thought at first.
