A damn fucking shame! I just got a brand new shrink wrap copy of this otherwise brilliant double mix CD an CD1's last 4 track is unreadable! Nothing can get to it! Faultly manifactured CD! Be aware yours might too!

I would vote for this one to be the best in Essential Underground series, with Berlin/New York by Galluzi & Selway sharing first place. One techno CD, one electro (I guess that's sort of like Dave Clarke's World Service series, but only remotely) and what variety! very interesting mixes, worth checking out.

After hearing Beyer's mix on Turbo, I really didn't expect much from this release. Actually I really don't know why I even bought this. But this release quickly became my favourite mix of 2005. Disc 1 is a techno, tech house and some electro oriented one. Compared to Beyer's previous mixes it is more inspiring. It kept me standing next to the speakers just reading and re-reading the tracklist. Disc 2 in slower, more of tech house and deep house style and it took me a while to really get it. This mix, however, left a lasting impression on me. Almost a year after it came out, I still can't get enough of this one. A detailed description cannot be given here. Just know that this is a release worthy of your time and money. If you like it, make sure to check out his Fabric outing as well. It countinues in the direction indicated here with a more minimal tone. Outstanding.
