The last review on this was 13 years ago. Honestly, I can understand how in 04' the A side could have been laughable given that around then the production quality was ramping up in dance music with the advent of various DAW's and the transition away from analog Trance music. However, I can't think of any other way to characterize the west cost rave sound in the US other than "The Show (Pill Maximizer Mix). It has aged really well in my opinion. Nothing needs to be said about the B-side. Honestly, one of the biggest Epic Trance tracks I've ever heard. It's completely unsurprising that this was one of Ferry's first forays into Trance music as he pretty much blew the sound wide open and set up the Dutch Trance formula that would be exploited for the next decade. This track is a hidden gem from the past that would still tear the roof off of any nostalgia night.

This is a dutch joke, yes? Listen to the A side and you have 2 dire euro tracks, very amateurish and poor. Then flip it over and it's a revelation of a one hook wonder, huge build up, breakdown then BANG big bassline, melodies, harmonies, the lot. One of my favourite tracks ever, only found out recently that Ferry Corsten had a hand in it.
