It is a slow release for Hectic. A faster version of Inner Sanctum exists on the Bonkers 2 album, Ravestation by Ramos, Supreme and U.F.O.

inner sanctum is a strange release as i think the speed where messed up on the production as it seems way to slow for even trancore at 33rpm and at -0 it seems way to fast and sounds to pitched up shame really as this has a great break does anyone agree?...

This may sound a bit technical, but I strongly believe that this track was slowed down on purpose before pressing, and I do not mean it was downpitched, but just slowed down the BPMs in the song's production project itself. I think my argument is solidly grounded because the tonality of the track in this vinyl is very close to the tonality of the one appearing in Bonkers 3, and this is inconsistent with the idea of it being downpitched for this press, since otherwise the tonality of the version coming in this vinyl would be much lower than the Bonkers' version. In the end, it should be considered thus as a different version, with the BPMs (but NOT the pitch, as stated before) being slowed down as the only difference with respect to the one featured on Bonkers 3.

Such an absolute shame that the speed on this pressing is so slow :-( It doesn't even sound great on on 45 (-8)

I've just received my copy and was thinking exactly the same. What a shame, as I've been after this for years. :(

Yes the pressing is pretty f*cked, shame cos I think the DAT is lost too so this is the only version of the track!
