Hearing this mix for the first time in 2016 and just in one listening session it goes in my top 10 all time favorite list. SIIIIICK mix form start to finish. Not a single filler track, no minute wasted on intros, warm ups, noise breaks or whatever else. 100% hi-speed insane energy uptempo mix you would normally only hear live at a party, not on an official mix cd were you'd normally see at least a few tracks that need to be promoted or a few "hits" that everyone knows. In the matter of fact (I checked) most of the tracks here were either never released on any other CD compilation or just one or two (and none of them are Thunderdome or Earthquake haha). Just pure hardcore baddassery all around.I originally got this for the terror (tracks 6-16) but to my surprise tracks 1-5 that would normally be associated with "gabber" sound as wicked, hard and fast as 6-16. Coolman records NEVER sounded so evil and wicked as on this mix. Also - it's refreshing to hear 100% vinyl mix in the era of sync buttons and simple bpm matching. No track is dragged for too long (in the matter of fact DJ Ya-chi goes thru them a bit too quick imo), perfect mixing and blending. Awesome track selection and mixing here, get it if you are into hi energy hardcore.
