This outstanding remix of Mystery Islands reminds me of a time when trance of upmost quality was only released on vinyl. I still feel nostalgic about the creativity behind those gorgeous melodies. Daylight is one of these tracks that I'll never forget and undoubtely one of the five best records of all times. Jani Kervinen aka Mystery Islands did an outstanding job on this one and so did Thomas Bronzwaer and Greg Murray! This melody is such an epic moment of pure sadness and uplifting energy which makes you feel like you see the light after having been secluded in a dark area. The track itself is absolutely perfect and fits the trance standard of the time when digital labels were still a long way from the trance scene. I just wish there were more trance like this nowadays but it seems the demand for commercial trance has grown so much over the past few years that we may never ever cross the road of such epic and fantastic pieces of art.
