It's insane how good the Freak With Thousand E's track is. Creepy, cute, pensive, driving and mysterious all in one track.

What a start for this new label, 5 well produced tracks from different artists that blow some fresh air straight in your face. The first track by ATeeze reminded me a little bit of Carl Craig’s work; the rhythm here is very well structured and is backed by sweet strings and a nice bassline. The second track is made by the better known Orgue Electronique, he dusted off his old TR-707 and applied some nice rhythms (who doesn’t dig a rimshot?) and melodies, this track could have been made in the 80’s if you wouldn’t knew any better. The next track is really something different, it has a big intro following some nice filtered hi-hats that suck you right into another dimension once the bassline hits you, quit exceptional. Ro-Lee’s track is the most experimental on this record, as the title suggest (The Secret Pass of Mt. Taishan) the track is full of Japanese vocals, weird melodies and breaks, still not too chaotic so you could still mix it with something else. The last track is by The Freak With Thousand E’s. (this guy apparently prefers to eat pills instead of concrete) The theme is most of all acid, it has got all the elements; a heavy kick, whispering hi-hat’s, a thick TB-303 bassline and moody vocals, what more can you ask for? And we should not forget to credit Oozi (from KXstarter records) for his excellent mastering on this record, the sound quality is perfect!
