Angel Moraes mix for me all day long, took this to another place for me. Kept the classy soulfulness but brought the slightly adrk, nY sleaze to this tracks. I just wish he had done a couple of dubs and DJ tools like he did with 4Tune ft Ben-Afterhours mixes he did. The crashes and echos in this are awesome.

Absolutely great tune, and the "On And On Strong Vocal" (O&OSV) is definitely one of my favourites of 1996. I agree with "adski", not that many more words to be said. However, I was not really amused about what happened after that.The Lil Louis Freedom Mix is also good; this version is sadly missing on most international releases. I was lucky to have an edit of this mix on the CD compilation "The True Underground" (SRCD 324).Positiva licensed the tune for the UK, with new mixes by George Morel, Sleeping Lions and Matthew Roberts. Alex Natale (of Alex Party fame) also delivers a mix here. Somehow, these versions did not attract me, the Bottom Dollar versions being nothing more or less than a continuation of the typical Britdance Loveland provided. Rob Acteson edited the original O&OSV down to a less repetitive 7:40 version.The Dutch release features versions by Belgian artist Decoy and Dutch producers Jean & Peran, both leaving out most of the atmosphere of the original, making it funky in a different way but not really my taste. The original O&OSV is also there, albeit without the introductory telephone call.On the other hand, one could collect the various country issues of this tune and demonstrate with one single tune what the sound of 1996 was in these countries = the sound that was hot in American/English/Italian/Dutch clubs during those days.

Love the chill vibe of the song but the "Lil Louis Freedom Remix" has an odd baby crying randomly in it around 3:20 in the version of this song that was included on the Club Mix 96 Vol 2 CD and 9:20 on the main version. It's weird and can someone please explain this?

One of the must have releases of the past few years. Produced and mixed by none other than Lil'Louis with a little help from another Louie, "Little" Louie Vega. The original version kicks off with a cool telephone conversation and then breaks into a mega funky, bassline driven female vocal groover. There's also a good dub by Frankie Feliciano on the flip side. The separate remix 12" has one slammin' Lil'Louis rendition and two not so great versions by Angel Moraes and Frankie Tamburo. A definite classic for the years to come.
