Somehow it has become an average standard during the years that the continuous mix-CD’s are tracked, so that you can step forward or backward each song in the mix. This Parisian label with its CD including their tracks and remixes mostly doesn’t give a shit to this habit. There will only be a 74 minutes long audio track in the Hi-Fi, if we start to play the album. This is quite a unique way to communicate an attitude that reflects on making the audience listen to the music from the very beginning to the very end. The music itself is unique as well as that approach. I think melting the songs into each other wasn’t the main aim either; nevertheless the mixes are precise and properly timed, but are artificially made to be comfortably recognizable. This creates an interesting mood next to the interesting songs: fat hop beats, dirty bass, urban grooves, electric-nu-disko, funk-pop, glitch – I don’t really have a clue what would be the best words to describe this music to someone who hasn’t heard it. This is a real big-city hybrid; each and everyone could find something in it. I think it could be used perfectly for big chats among friends talking through each other. Definitely worths going after it and getting it!
