With this first disc of _Music In My Mind_ mix, Adam F. takes a mellower approach to drum and bass, letting the vocoder take precedence among the beats. Blame leans for spacious atmospherics with his “Astral Mix,” a twinkling mix that sounds like orbiting bodies in space zooming by. From the Free Jazz Festival in Rio de Janeiro, “Circles” comes via a live mix, replete with crowd noise and an MC who likes to state the obvious. Sure, why not?
