One of the most beautiful new age records ever recorded. One of the most beautiful instrumental records ever recorded. One of the most beautiful records ever recorded, period. Originally released in 1985 in California and something I'd never heard of until the past few months with a gorgeous reissue on Students of Decay. Apparently this was a co release as Mark and Helen Banning, Helen now credited here as "Helen Perez" only on the back cover as performing Zither along with Mark. I'm sure a lovely divorce tale lies somewhere beneath the sand or a crusty yoga mat decaying in a Northern California landfill. But at least we still have these sounds....
