I bought this to have "Lock Up" on 12". Its a bit of a played out anthem at this point so when I heard the track on the flipside I was pleasently surprised. The real under-rated gem on this 12" is "Module (V.C.F.)" Its a real deep and dark jungle tekno sort of track. I previously heard this track in a Kleez-One set but it failed to impress. On its own or book ended with happy tracks, this one really stands out.

Lock Up is one of those rare records from the early 90's that hasn't dated and still rocks any dancefloor. It's the combination of the euphoric chords at the start, and then that wicked break kicks in, and the off-key bassline. It's irresistable! Some would argue, no doubt, that it is a hardcore tune, in the same area musically as early Prodigy, Altern 8 etc, but at the time it was a record that re-wrote the rules rather than being pitched at a specific audience. (5 dancing men, no bother!)
