12 years after releasing the first Scratch Nerds album, DJ Craze and DJ Klever are back with there long awaited sequel to their highly regarded turntablism mixtape style album from 2002, released thought DJ Craze's record label Slow Roast Records. This journey takes us on a crazy trap music kind off vibe, featuring tons of heavyweight 808s, big beefy bass and of course, oddles of dope scratching as both these former DMC champions take turns going into a fader frenzy as they tear it up on the wheels of steel. Add into the mix A-Trak, DJ Q-Bert, D-Styles, Ricci Rucker aka The Ruckazoid, DJ Teeko and Chris Karns aka DJ Vajra, that's one hell of a wicked but heavyweight turntablist guest appearance line up.I really can't fault any tracks on this album as they are all pretty good, but if I had to choose one track on this album then I would have to say it would have to be the Bird Machine (Scratch Nerds Edit) track. This is where Craze and Klever take the original DJ Snake & Alesia song “Bird Machine” add in a bit of Peter Griffin from Family Guy singing The Trashmen song “Surfin' Bird”, throw in a bit of David Attenborough, add in some dope clever bird scratching and voilà, one hell of a very catchy song. This has to be the stand out track on the album in my opinion. I rate this release a worthy rare 5 stars out of 5 as I really can't find a bad word to say about this release, it's a must for any fan of Turntablism music. Download it then bump it loud and proud, you won't be disappointed!
