14:31 A beautifully crafted, inspiring masterpiece of music. This track is the reason I'll always hold on to this vinyl. Sounds just as good everytime i hear it !

8:07 into 5:23 is the soundtrack to a sweet one-night-stand. The fling is never going to work, it will be over in the morning, but all you can focus on is the moment. The fact it will not last makes it even more cherishable, as well as nostalgic (oh! yes, there are tons of nostalgia on display) and intense. And when you think it is time to part, the music decides you are on for round two -- the final embrace.Tangerine Dream knew what they were doing, when they composed Love On A Real Train for Risky Business (although inspired by Reich, it is far from a cover). Global Communications perfected it by stretching the three-minute track into a legendary thirteen-minute novel. Immortal.

Not dated so well, I fear. I know it's been re-released to keep down the crazy prices on ebay, and "14:31" is one of the all-time great ambient tracks, but there's a bit too much flab and not enough real meat on this, 12 years on.
