Whoa... Blown away by the audio, the sound, the bass, her voice. So glad to see her moving towards more experimental music. The long track on side D is pure headphone sex.

the best album of Roisin, amazing !
Jozrone
Glorious album, again. Even stranger and more layered than Hairless Toys, though quite different in its approach. Any idea why the album was split into two discs? The slightly longer Hairless Toys had great sound quality on just a single record, and this clocks in at just about the max for an album (~46 minutes / 23 per side). Would have at least liked to see them bump it to 45 RPM to justify spreading the compact album over four sides of wax... Oh well, excess flipping aside, it's a beautiful package and sounds lovely.

To be honest, most of your complaints don't really apply here - the sound quality and quality control issues that you're complaining about aren't present here. "Those people" that didn't bump this to 45 RPM weren't "those people" you're complaining about based on the record I own so...

with "charge more" I meant prices for vinyl in general these days. It's nice that Juno only wants 17.68 for a double album. However, have you seen the prices the majors charge for re-releases or new vinyl these days? they are really milking it... considering the high amount of faulty records (I explained the reasons why) they throw on the market. That said then there are labels such as "music on vinyl".. who have exorbitant prices too, but the quality is okay.
Steelraven
"Charge more"? This double LP was €17.68 on Juno. Way less than what Mondo, Death Waltz are costing us for a single recordEDIT; Not sure if you know this, but Discogs' strange order in threads is begging me to say: Read my comment AFTER reTcon's.

Hi, I was just about to write exactly the same thing in my review when I discovered yours:-)The problem is that all knowledge about vinyl production is lost, thus leaving it in the hands of people who can't distinguish a damaged disk from a good one and who don't even know that you can't touch a record with your bare fingers. That's why half of the new records are already totally stained with fingerprints and thus damaged. So how could those people possibly know that you can improve sound quality by printing it at 45rpm?The reason why most albums are spread out on two disks is the money aspect... They can charge more! It's not about the sound, they are just milking the fact that vinyl is hip again!By the way, the album itself is GREAT!

Should be the limited signed copy treated as a different release ? it contains also a signed picture of roisin.

No (At least 10 words must be entered. Please enter at least 9 more.)

Mine was signed on the outside (front of the album) and inside was containing a picture of roisin signed: loveRoisinI will post here when I will be back home
cyrexoff
I didn't received signed print too - just a signed copies of vinyl and CD :/
Venemarr
did'nt get the signed print :/ but the sleeve was signed. Was yours signed or did you "just" got a signed photo ?
FreandlyMan
I don't think it needs a separate entry. A note in the main release would be enough. The signed picture was only given to patience fans who ordered through her website, after the original signed albums were damaged in transit. Roisin kindly included the signed art print as an apology for the delay to those fans.
