Years ago I heard the track "Gavin Bryars" and became slightly obsessed with it. I remember downloading it from Dreamchimney, throwing it on a random CD and every so often I would come across it and it would captivate me. It's a track that doesn't sound that unique on paper - warm, spacious, atmospheric, beautiful synths. But, it's a complete standout. This whole LP has a similar vibe and it's a good release, but "Gavin Bryars" just steals the show. I'm glad the this song has been released on a physical format.
