The Space Brothers have produced trance under a variety of names, but only put out a single album, SHINE, under this moniker. The album starts gently enough with "Your Place In The World," showing off their love of ethereal female vocals. But the beats start in earnest with the title track, featuring erstwhile vocalist Joanna Law -- a pity the lyrics themselves are pretty bland. "This Is Love" brings in some breaks to vary the rhythms some, and the slow chug of "Heaven Will Come" is also a nice variant. "I Still Love You" offers up a disco bass, but it's not until the classic track "Forgiven (I Feel Your Love)" do we hear them at their best. And while there might be a touch too much keening from Kate Cameron on "The Same Journey" for my taste, the more straightforward "Legacy (Show Me Love)," she sounds much stronger, before the chilled-out "Beyond The Sun" ends the album. The bonus disc mixed by Paul Oakenfold shows the brothers at their most club-friendly and blended with the usual Oakenfold panache. Of course, most of these tracks haven't aged well, but it's still a nice snapshot of electronic music from the turn of the millennium.

I got lucky brought a copy of this ... 3 x 12" - disc 1 and 3 labelled the same - however was the correct pressing with Forgiven (I feel Love) £15.00 off ebay isnt bad!
