these wippenberg remixes were done at the height of olaf's artistic renaissance. much like that of first state, before that, everything he churned out was unoriginal trance productions, but then he developed this incredibly unique blend of electro and progessive house, but with a more mature trance feel. for me it was pure genius and i so greatly anticipated each slice of production that came out of his studio for a brief period. sadly it was just too good to last. the first few things he did were exceptionally good. like: should've known, promisedland, and needs to feel. but as the remix requests poured in, i think he made the common mistake of trying to satisfy them all and the quality went downhill fast. after that, he started making this minimal techy stuff and i stopped caring.this remix (the 128 version seems to be the pick) was really the last good thing he made in my opinion and it's been on my wantlist since then (late '07). all i can say about them finally seeing a release is: better late than never! i thought we would never see them, to be honest.aside from the wippenberg remixes, the rest i believe to be re-releases. robbie rivera sorely disappoints. the man is a genius and you would think this song would be right down his alley, but it's a let down. the group therapy mix is good and definitely worth playing although it's a kinda lengthy and can get a bit repetitive; it could use a mixshow edit. the original will be regarded as a classic and the kyau vs albert mix is exceptional as well. i'm usually split between playing these two. because they're both top notch!
