Amazingly colourful album! I was in Uganda for a month last winter, and "Second light" became THE soundtrack of that trip. I'm listening to this album for the first time since that trip right now, and I've had goosebumps since the first track "Life, love, unity". When I listened to "A canterbury tale", the third track, I actually got tears in my eyes. It is such a beautiful, exotic downtempo-track. Dreadzone had a very unique style with their three first stuio-albums "360", "Second light" and "Biological radio". Their blend of dub/reggae, hypnotic progressive trance/house beats and melodic downtempo/ambient just blew my mind when I heard it for the first time. "Second light" is without a doubt their best effort so far, and when I'm listening to the album right now I can't stop thinking of rating this album as one the best EDM-albums ever! The flow from beginning to end is great, and thanks to the great variation, without sounding straggling, you never get bored. Every single track is great in its own way, and the last track "Out of heaven" is just the perfect outro. The piano-melody is MAGICAL!

A very nice all-round album. With Little Britain and One Way it has a couple of up-tempo dance tracks, while Shining Path and out of heaven are warm breakbeat tracks. Cave Of Angels is my favourite track though. The album always reminds me of warm summer evenings for one reason or another.
