I had this album in my list of "to buy" items since 2009 but since it was selling for over $100 I held off. Finally picked it up a week or so ago. Very good album. I also purchased Calypso based on the strength of this title. I would not go as far as to say (as others have) that SVN will make you forgot Thievery Corporation. That's just dumb. But this album is worthy of adding to your chill collection. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone liking this genre of music.

Probably the best album to make love with your girl (or boy). The mood is just so sweet that every time I hear that album I can stop thinking of that. It's a very strange feeling. And more, Sven Van Hees has declare himself that a lot of couple named theyr new born Sven because theyr where doing that on Gemini's album. What a more beautiful present than that.

This album is the best lounge-album I have ever heard. Chills go down my spine when ik hear Serrano Anthem. It is not for nothing that they call Sven Van Hees "The king of Lounge". Mind blowing sounds.

melody of you

i'm alot into lounge and easy listening - bossa stuff, and i can say for sure that this is the best album from this genre that i know. each track here is a masterpiece. especially the jaw-dropping track "ocean jive" sets new standards in loungmusic, that hardly any other can obtain. this album makes you easily forget about acts like thievery corporation or jaffa.
