Grillador
This is a fantastic record. Rancho Notorious has a very "cowboy western" feel, beginning with a sample (presumably from the film of the same name), then building with a few bars of fast kick drums and snares to a climax of cowboy guitar, synths, horns and a really nice bassline (with a laughing prospector-type voice interspersed throughout.) "He said, a measly thousand bucks for me is much too little. I'm worth a lot more than that. That's right, he said that. Then he added another zero to the thousand. There isn't anyone got the guts to face that killer, eh? At least, it's been that way 'till now." In the City, on the other hand, is pure liquid funk. Starting off with hats and vocoded vocals singing "gonna be a good time, gonna be a high time, down in the city", it builds to a funky high with disco-like vocals that's hard not to dance to.
