A1: Deep House. Has the breaky signature of Derrick Carter. Fine chunky muffled bassline with sharp vocal stabs. No douubt it has a lovely smooth grove to it but is lacking in substance. Not far off but far enough. [SEVEN]A2: Electronic Jazz. Has a very early "Warp Records" sound. I say very early because it's biggest flaw is it's lo-fi production. The beats sound a little thin and the otherwise excellent deep saw synth lead a smidge lo-res. Great beats and idea's and the "jazz" piano is a treat and gives an air of quality. When it builds it's a fine track but in it's quieter passages it's a bit "Demo". [SEVEN]B1: Techno. Quality cerebral deep techno. Gorgeous deep bass synths give this track it's warmth. Superior drum programming and layering make this a summer winner. [TEN]B2: Techno. Deep F-Comm style techno. Fine beat programming and soft synths ease you in for the first third. There's a bit of edge in the synth for the next passage before the blissful lush vibe returns echoing Vince Watson. It oozes quality and again sounds like it's made for the sun. [TEN]

A very high-quality release - nice selection of tracks by all involved - if this isn't a great record than my nickname on discogs isn't Traitor!
