What a waste. Motiv8 have been responsible for so many amazing remixes over the years, and whatever lazy sod was in charge of getting these licensing requests must've been asleep at the wheel. All of these masterful cheesy pop gems, MISSING:Kylie Minogue "On A Night Like This"Erasure "Freedom"Spice Girls "Wannabe" Diana Ross "I Will Survive"Crush "Jellyhead"Robert Palmer "Addicted To Love"Gina G "Ooh Aah Just A Little Bit"Now THOSE would all make a great Motiv8 compilation! I just don't understand why the lazy sods at Pure Music didn't try harder at getting permission to include those songs, instead of the unknown dreck that does make up this compilation. Shameful really.

Probably would have been prohibitively expensive. If the label pays you for a mix they're not gonna just let you release it yourself for free - at least, not unless you'd worked that out beforehand.

The Kelly Llorenna A Brighter Day is also ripped from vinyl as there are pops and clicks plus the loudness (vinyl is well known for its slam) is way up and its longer than the one released commercially running at 6:33all the other releases that have the "Motiv-8 Mix" are around 5.18 on the CD singles etc. in fact i have nearly all motiv 8 mixes that appear on the singles and to be honest i think the album may be entirely ripped from vinyls after comparing them against good quality sources.Baby Don't Go by Michelle Gayle i thought wasn't available anywhere and was only issued on a vinyl release but i doubt the master was obtained for this compilation.

Incorrect. The Michelle Gayle remix was on this CD compilation https://www.discogs.com/Various-Loud-Proud-Ultimate-Gay-Anthems/release/1160107 . The Motiv8tion uses the same edited version of the Alabama 3 remix which also appears on the Loud & Proud CD. I'm pretty certain only the Kelly Llorenna and Dubstar remixes are sourced from vinyl.

Track 2-02 is a vinyl rip. clicks, pops, and unlistenable silibance on the vocals. A master quality version can be found on this compilation.

If you like this kind of music, this is heaven! In addition, this compilation is so high-energy you can use it at the gym for maximum effect, although I don't consider that a compliment normally.
