Please someone enlighten me :)I listen but I don't understand the lyrics of "Drop Out", the sound of lyrics comes a bit complicated, I don't understand what she exactly says.I profoundly loved this prodigious song, and wanna understand what she says. Thanks a lot in advance.

Drop out is a great song but I still don't know what to make of "Red Embers" Listened to it about then times and still don't know if I like it or not. The beat and the arrangements are great the female choir however is getting on my nerves.
Scream_I LOVE YOU
What really makes this track - Drop Out - is the stunningly addictive vocal sample. These are sampled from Nico's 1967 song Chelsea Girl. Started out as a fashion model, and then guest vocalist for Velvet Underground, real name Christa Päffgen had an incredibly versatile career spanning film, music, modeling and parenthood... Anyways, even this project's alias, Room 506, is taken from one of the verses of the aforementioned song. The seductive look on the vinyl could be hers as well. Her beauty was known to inspire many artists. That said, this has to be the most "user friendly" Ancient Methods effort to date. Which is a double-edged axe onto itself. From one angle you have one of the year's most hyped club cuts, yet from the other, given Ancient Methods' striking history of highly complex, layered and medieval themed works, this one might seem a tad shallow to long time fans. The bass line is composed of one of those techno meets deviant electro passages, which, albeit light years away from originality, works damn well where it should: on the dance floor. However, take the druggy vocal bits out, and you're left with a pretty run of the mill party stomper. That said, perhaps this release was a next logical step for this outfit. Keeping in mind some of their recenter remix work (Whirling Hall Of Knives, Powell, Bourbonese Qualk), this is a nice continuation of their sonic exploration journey, incorporating non-techno material into dance floor cuts. Not a bad thing at all. This is masterful sampling at its best topped of with hysterical riffs and invigorating beats to get the blood pumping. I can already see the crowd singing along to the hypnotic chants...For what it is, this may expose the gentleman behind the AM moniker to a larger public, which would be something more than deserved, as he's (formerly they) has been putting out blindingly good music out for years now, but for those of you expecting the incinerating material we all loved Ancient Methods for in the first place, I would refer you to their last EP, "Turn Ice Realities Into Fire Dreams", which still packs the punch you'd expect. Likewise, if you really dig this, check out the "The 'Ohne Hände' Remixes" that was done in collaboration with Black Egg. More of the vocal trickery combined with harsh percussion drops to be found there.

With all due respect i don't understand the fuss about this release. Sounds like Fischerspooner dirty version 2.0, which is why i'm sure it's going to sell...i guess it's a matter of taste, definitely not buying it, more copies for you ;)Also not too sure about this being techno, industrial/electroclash maybe?
