Personally, I like "Glow" better than the other track - its much catchier and much more uplifting - I could dance to this in a club or just listen to it at home - either way its beautiful but danceable too.

As I can't remember which side is actually which track... One of these is without doubt the most uplifting happy trance track in my box!! Emotional and airy melodic chords, building euphoric peaks, and just the right level of 'punch' are combined to deliver what to me is the perfect trance track :) The other side is a very interesting piece of work. Although the melody is totally original and quite engrossing, the rhythm is a bit unusual and there is no power behind the beats whatsoever. It has a very soft introduction, and even in the later-mid-section never takes off which is a shame. I find it really quite hard to mix with and can understand why it get much DJ play when released.

For those confused, this vinyl (and possibly the CDR release) gets the titles the wrong way round. "Wave" starts with the sounds of the ocean and seagulls (quite rightly), whilst the other starts with the more traditional kick + clap Club Mix formula. Also, a bit of trivia: "Glow" (or "Wave" on this vinyl) originally started off as a remix of Moogwai - Neon but was rejected by Moogwai himself and later became "Glow" for this release. "Wave" too has similar history in that it was originally identifyable as Moon - Wave. It was also originally distributed for free on the internet. Moon was a short-lived alias Airbase used not only for "Wave", but also on an unreleased remix of Blank & Jones - Watching The Waves and a rare freebie titled "Come To Me".I think both sides of this vinyl are remarkable songs, though I tend more towards "Wave" (the ocean intro'd track) because not only am I a bit biased towards it being in my favourite key, F, but it also has a really nice build right up until the chrous comes in with full force. "Glow" does well to achieve this in it's own way, being that it's the calmer piece. If, on the off-chance, you spy it in a record shop, I'd recommend getting it. "Wave / Glow" (what it should be called!) is a release worth owning in whatever form.

Airbase is a young swedish producer which i do have some issues with about his music, it's too standard & dull. But then he created was then his uplifting trance remake of Moogwai's Neon. Moogwai rejected the remix but his Platipus liked the track and it was released under the name Rah - Glow (Airbase Remix). This track is one of his highlights and it's just because it is what good uplifting trance shood be about. Nice pads and a lush melody being played on a great beat.
