Siegel’s work here releases the musicality inherent in manufactured things divorced from their intended use—-in this case bottlecaps manipulated around a polished cement floor—-and juxtaposing that sound-experience with non-traditional playing on a traditional musical instrument, in this case an electric bass guitar.
