Ochach
Perhaps the most mature and complicated work of The Mission up to the date with no gothic mood inside. The album originally intended to be Wayne Hussey's solo effort. Sparkling, diverse, more than ever electronic, orienatal and orchestrated "Masque" became a great step forward and aside from the usual Hussey's cliches, lyrically as well. Unfortunately die hard fans hadn't accepted this dancy and folk turn at all and The Mission's audience was split in two. Even Wayne Hussey himself agreed that commercially "Masque" had been a wrong direction for the band. On the other hand Hussey admits that his lyrics for this album is strong and clear comparing to the previous works and Utah Saints' electronic remixes were modern and interesting.
