I dunno why the ss version is so sought after, it's probably the worst mix out of the lot, stick with the dream team or the version on caines lp guntalk

It's far from my favourite jungle record, but it was an extremely powerful DJ tool in its time, even as late as 2002 (which is probably the last time I played it for a decent-sized crowd). That's at least one possible answer to your question. In my experience, it never failed to make a crowd go mental, or to win back a crowd which was starting to disperse.

I have two different labels on my two copies. The only difference is on the a side. One has the "A Fashion Production", and the other has just A. Anyone know the story behind that?

This track featured in an episode of Father Ted, "New Jack City." A new priest comes to replace Father Jack, only the new guy likes jungle music. A classic quote from the two priests talking about him; Dougal : "God, Ted. I've never met anyone like him anywhere... who would he be like - Hitler or one of those mad fellas. " Ted : "Oh, worse than Hitler. You wouldn't find Hitler playing jungle music at 3 o'clock in the morning. "

THE ragga jungle classic for me. I heard it on the radio in 1995 and was infected simultaneously. This tuff combination of voice and breaks still remains unchallenged after 10 years. And it caused so many attempts to do jungle remixes of Cutty's tunes that rumours say that the man nowadays never voices split-channel dubplates to avoid too much acapellas circulating.
