I picked this up at Gramaphone for a few bucks hoping I'd find one or two cuts worth playing. I had recently been getting into Aaron Carl productions and I wanted to find some more from him. The original mix is classic Aaron. I'm playing that. The real gem here, I think, is the "Club 69 Future Anthem", which is a 10-minute rave bomb. Some might think the synths are super cheesy (and they kind of are), but I think a track like this can do extensive damage when played at the right moment. I love collecting tracks like these. Use sparingly! The Club 69 Pirate mix has a massive baseline and is also pretty fun. "Soulman's Eviction Loops" might be my second favorite here though, with it's darker approach. And finally the "Club 69 Accapella". What's not to love about a guy talking in a creepy voice about the lights going off and some words about house music? Playing it.At first I was only playing a couple off the first plate, then I moved on to the second plate. There is a lot of quality stuff here for a few different moods. Grab it while it's super cheap. RIP Aaron Carl.
