This is a fantastic collection and shows very well the developing musical identity of Remy. Although I had most of Remy's work before, listening to this collection left me very impressed. Clearly an under-recognised EM artists. Remy's initial work showed a clear Klaus Schulze influence, but he rapidly developed his own style. This style is innovative and uncompromising: this music requires some effort om the listener, but in return it offers some unique and highly original compositions. My favorite is "Sense" where the way voice elements are added is intricate and intriguing; absolutely novel. Music for those who like Schulze, Kistenmacher, Schoenwaelder, with some influences of contemporary orchestral music. This limited edition - wich also includes some earlier works with very limited availability - is therefore highly recommended; you may go for the 5-disc version to save on budget though.
