Real good Mad Mike mental techno. But why is Planet X only 3.10min?

Essential Mad Mike, essential UR. This is the UR sound, the sound of the interstellar attack force. Clearly this is some of Mad Mike’s “madness” programmed into synthesizers. The drum programming is nuts! Psychedelic to the core. SLAMS!

This is an absolutely essential piece of vinyl for any self-respecting fan of Detroit techno. "The Force"? "Planet X"? They're perfectly fine tunes. Frankly, I couldn't care less, this record is all about "Death Star". This track is seven minutes of pure mayhem courtesy of Mad Mike Banks. The deep, menacing bassline and hard hitting beat are accompanied by what can only be described as futuristic sounds reminiscent of a spaceship careening out of control and blasting into a million pieces. Undoubtedly one of Mad Mike's finest moments (god knows he's has many).
