Brilliant debut album of Daniel Myer`s "intelligent" alter ego. Architect was chosen as a moniker for tracks that initially were made for Haujobb but didn`t meet it`s format. "Galactic Supermarket" makes very special feeling. It`s really galactic, calm and delicate. No obvious idm/electro/d`n`b structures, no glitch noises and other attributes of today high-tech electronica which appear on next albums. Pure experimentalism and successful search of new forms.Reasoning internal dynamic of music, moving and spinning from dot to universe, forces to imagine that "Galactic Supermarket" is a kit of cosmic music boxes created by a scientist from retro movie. Every box, driven by springs, slowly opens and shows it`s marvel secrets to an attentive listener.

Loved this review! I was looking at the tracklist for the Teknoir compilation on Hymen records when I saw Architect, and just now remembered this album that I accidentally stumbled upon in a dank excursion in the p2p network when I was a wee teenager.Glad I found it again, and this review really put words on how I feel about this scene and also this album!

one of my favorite intelligent, minimal album. decent, but intoxicating!
