Regulars to night clubs and discos during the seventies and early eighties will remember the wealth of compulsive dance music and quality soul classics which abounded at this time.
More recently, the music of this era has found a new audience. The soul fan who frequented the night clubs and discos over a decade ago has become bored with the synthesised disco of recent years . He has dabbled in hip hop and break beats and has come full circle back to the original funky sounds first capitvated by James Brown as early as the late 60's.

Rare groove is the trendy term for this music, and there are those that say that the current trend for Rare Groove can't last. In reality, good soul music is timeless, whether you call it Rare Groove, Soul Revival or any other name.

This album has been compiled by T.U.F Enterprises. T.U.F. Enterprises are three DJ's who currently play to the underground Soul Scene. They are Des Parkes, R.S. Digital, Peter Remy and Bess (Secretary).
